The whole hand eye corrdination thing is a big turn off. I've tried playing with my sisters tablet before trying to get used to it, and I just could not do it. Using Colors! 3D on my 3DS is great because I can see what I'm doing as I'm doing it. While that statement probably makes no sense, It makes a huge difference to see what I'm doing right underneath my stylus as I'm drawing.
I've been looking online and there are tablets that let you have the screen under the pen, I even saw something for ipad that looked totally freakin awesome. But they cost too much..
My 3DS is great an all but its limited, and the screen is much too small. Even a 3DSXL might be to small of a work space.
For now I think I'll just keep sketching, taking pics and doing the line art on Colors! Until the perfect solution comes along. ><;

Using a tablet takes some time to get used to... It was weird for me at first, but now I just... know where to put my pen to write in certain spots. Programs like Paint Tool SAI help a lot, since you can edit the lines after you draw them--I wouldn't be able to make smooth lines otherwise. ^^' Hopefully IPads will get that sort of thing soon... Artists would love that, I think.

I saw something for ipads called Sketchbook Pro 2.. if I remember the name correctly. And its kind of what I'm looking for, drawing on the screen like the 3DS. Its still pretty costly and with a near 10 year old computer, I have to get that sorted out first ><; I'll have to find me a really cheap tablet to play with so I dont break my sisters lol.
