I have created this Roleplay Setup board for one reason...
What is that reason?
Keeping things tidy.
If that doesn't make much sense, then let me break it down.
I've seen roleplay threads on other forums where an Rp would start, and pages in, someone new would join and post everything about their character in the middle of the roleplay. Usually this would include a large picture along with the application and or a character bio. To me, that feels messy.
By setting up your roleplay here on this board, everyone who wants to join can post everything they need to post without causing clutter during the actual roleplay. But always remember to check your RP setup thread for new posts. That way if anyone has and questions, you'll be able to answer them as promptly as possible.
I think it would be fairly simple to link back to your character information here in the setup board. (You can do this by clicking the droplist for the gear icon in the top right of your post and clicking the "Link to Post" option.) Snag the link, and you can easily add your character profile to your introductory post in the actual RP.
To make this even cleaner, I offer the idea of adding a cast list in your Rp Thread's introductory post. Collect the links for all your cast members and have them all right there for everyone to see.
I hope this gives you some ideas. <3
See the next post if you are interested in using a chat service instead of this forum to conduct your RP in.

Potential Chat Spaces!I know that a lot of people do not like forum based Rps, so I offer these options. You will still need to go through the process of a Setup Thread and then an official thread for the Rp even if you chose to use a chat service. If anyone has any other ideas for chats that we can post links to, feel free to let us know in a reply to this thread. These are some chats I've found that I enjoy. ~ Chatzy~My sister, Chibi-MiMi, suggested this one. Its fairly simple. You just have to click the link, pick a username and a color, then enter the chat. Once you get in, hit join chat at the very bottom and you're good to go. This chat also allows for posting images and videos. (They will appear as links unless you go to your preferences and change it to "Always small" etc.) Cons? Theres a tiny bit of lag while the chat checks for our posts. No biggie though. Further experimentation yielded that in order for your own posted images to show up as a thumbnail, you must login either via registering as a free user, or logging in through facebook.Chatzy~ Stinto ~This option is an insanely easy one. You simply generate a chat, it gives a link for it. You make a username and you're done and free to chat. The text is a little larger than normal so its easy to read. The chat will erase itself after a certain amount of inactivity and a new one would have to be made. Its also very reliable, I've never had problems with this one. The cons with this one are that you can't change your text color if thats an issue. Stinto Chat- Moe
